TEACHING
Individual online lessons for guitarists and musicians who want to deepen their understanding of improvisation, harmony, rhythm, technique and composition through a structured but flexible learning process.
My approach to teaching is based on understanding music as a connected system. Technique, harmony, rhythm, ear training and improvisation are not treated as isolated subjects, but as different aspects of the same musical language.
The goal is not simply to learn more scales, chords or repertoire, but to develop the tools to understand music, make independent musical decisions and gradually build a personal artistic voice.
ONLINE LESSONS
Lessons are individually adapted to each student’s level, musical background and goals while following a clear and structured learning path.
The program can include:
Jazz Guitar & Fretboard Knowledge
Developing a deeper understanding of the instrument, chord structures, voicings, voice leading and the relationship between harmony and the fretboard.
Harmony
Understanding harmonic functions, chord relationships, progressions, substitutions and their practical application to playing, arranging and improvisation.
Improvisation
Developing melodic ideas, phrasing, motivic development, harmonic awareness and the ability to create coherent musical statements in real time.
Rhythm
Working with subdivision, phrasing, rhythmic displacement, independence and different approaches to groove and time.
Repertoire & Jazz Language
Using standards and other repertoire as practical material for studying form, harmony, melody, accompaniment and improvisation.
Technique
Developing instrumental technique in direct connection with musical ideas and individual needs.
Composition & Personal Language
Exploring composition, arrangement and improvisation as tools for developing an individual musical identity.
Lessons can be based on written music, chord charts, recordings, exercises, transcriptions or material developed specifically for the individual student.
EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
Alongside individual teaching, I develop books, studies and learning materials based on my work as a guitarist, composer and educator.
These publications explore different aspects of guitar playing, harmony, technique, improvisation and musical development, and can be used both independently and as complementary material within the lessons.

6 Estudios para Guitarra Electrica is a series of miniatures that I wrote as technical and composition studies.
All of them are based on the approaches and concepts that I am currently exploring in relation to the harmonic system that Oliver Messiaen’s mode 3 gives.
It is my hope, that these pieces will provide insight into my curiosity about the inner workings of the guitar and provide material for other players to use as a launchpad to further their own development on the instrument
